Introduction
Tasso Alloys owns control over three considerably big reserve of graphite mineral in Arunachal Pradesh. They employ new and advanced forms of sophisticated technology that focuses on safe mining operations without causing much damage to the sustainable environment. This group, in an endless endeavor to discover new forms of material and technology, have used graphite in several urban and industrial units.
Tasso Alloys hold three leases in Arunachal Pradesh named- Tai-Tachidoni, Dodeserum and Bopi. Amongst these, Tai-Tachidoni is the largest lease.
Geology & Mineralization
- Tai-Tachidoni :
- Dodeserum :
- Bopi :
Tai-Tamaripa-Tachidoni belongs to Khetabari Formation and comprises metasedimentary sequences. The existing rock types are quartzite, quartz mica schist, phyllite, graphite schist and carbonaceous phyllite. The area is highly deformed and characterized by multiple major and minor folds and faults. Graphite is mainly hosted within mica schist and carbonaceous phyllite.
The metasedimentary sequence encountered in Dodeserum, belongs to the Khetabari formation of the Bomdila Group. The rock types exposed in the area are phyllite, graphite bearing phyllite, graphite schist, quartz-mica schist, quartzite and carbonaceous phyllite and granite. Signatures of sulphide mineralization and iron leaching were observed in the rocks. Graphite is hosted within phyllite and schist.
The litho units of this area belong to Khetabari formation and Daporijo Gneiss. Stratigraphically lower units are exposed in south eastern part and top most unit – Daporijo gneissic complex is exposed in the north western part of the area. Carbonaceous grey phyllite, quartzite and phyllite constitute the lower most Simmi formation. Graphite is hosted within phyllite and schist.
Exploration
- We are specialists in cost effective exploration project management, which include both comprehensive and phased exploration strategies.
- Geological Mapping & Geophysical Survey are fundamental tools of exploration to understand the character, relations, distribution and origin or mode of formation of rock masses and mineral deposits. Tasso's experienced geologists and project managers are efficient to record accurate data/information in identifying all the geological/geophysical aspects and carried out extensive geological and structural mapping over the entire area of interest. Tasso's proficient GIS team has substantial experience in geo spatial data processing, analysis and interpretation which is supplemented by geo spatial database management.
- Tasso is planning to commence extensive ground geophysical survey (Magnetic and Resistivity) over the entire area of interest to generate sub surface data and mineralization signatures to identify the target mineralization.
- Pitting and trenching has been carried out over the entire area of interest. Multiple samples have been generated during the process, which have been analyzed from reputed accredited Labs.
- Tasso has carried out exploratory drilling of few boreholes within the area of interest to confirm the presence of target mineralization. Tasso is planning to execute a full-fledged drilling operation (as per best industry standard) in near future to assess the mineral resource and quality.
- Tasso's inhouse highly competent resource modelling and mine planning team applies latest geospatial techniques, geo-statistics and software to carry out mineral resource estimate and mine planning
